Description
Colt Third Generation Single Action Army 357 Mag 4 3/4" Revolver
serial #SA07726, 357 Magnum, 4 3/4" barrel with an excellent bore. The blued surfaces of this 1978-made gun have been cleaned and left in-the-white with later scroll engraving added for about 25% coverage. The coverage extends down the barrel, across the topstrap with wedges between each chamber, recoil shield, loading gate plus high lights and borders on the grip frame. The topstrap was cleaned to pewter but the sight trough and remaining surfaces of the frame retain nearly full but somewhat subdued case-hardened colors. The grips are smooth unmarked replacement stocks, possibly of pau ferro, that rate excell. nt. The cylinder and grip frame are correctly numbered to the gun and it still times and locks up. A lovely "third genny" with many possibilities
